The State Administration for Market Regulation released four national standards related to knives, covering the fields of metal processing and woodworking knives, including GB/T 6120-2025 "Circular Saw Blades", all of which will be implemented on May 1, 2026. The standards regulate the hardness, precision and safety requirements related to fixed blade knives and folding knives, strengthen the blade fixing and locking methods and dynamic balance requirements, align with international standards, and will promote the improvement of product consistency and safety in the industry.
